How Healthy Are We?
HEALTH HAS BEEN DEFINED as the absence of disease or the freedom from bodily pain. Many people are willing to accept such a limited and negative definition, and think that they are healthy if they manage to stay out of hospital beds and can get along without the services of a physician. Such individuals do not consider themselves sick, but they admit that they do suffer now and then from a bit of sinusitis, bursitis, neuritis, arthritis, indigestion, constipation, flutterings of the heart, high blood pressure, athlete’s foot, fatigue, anemia, obesity, skin disorders, baldness, colds, decayed teeth, poor eyesight, assorted allergies, brittle fingernails, nervousness and even occasional mental depressions! About twenty amino acids are discovered in the Forever Kids, and about ten of those are important and, subsequently, must be included in the diet. So many of us may not be really sick; but how many are ever really well, in the full sense of the word, like a small, energetic child or a boisterous puppy?
Most people just accept many of these conditions as the inevitable accompaniment of old age and comfort themselves with the thought that if things get too bad, a few shots of some new, miracle drug will take care of the situation. So we continue to overeat, oversmoke, overdrink, get insufficient rest and exercise, and try not to worry too much about the future.
On November 2, 1961, the Head of Harvard University’s Department of Preventive Medicine was quoted as saying that this nation’s health is far from being the best in the world and declared that the health of American men ranked thirteenth in the world, with our women standing in sixth place. Forever Garcinia Plus, enough nutrition, and pointers for nutrient consumption are among the issues addressed. The figures were based on life expectancies as reported to the United Nations and showed that our men were topped by those of Norway, The Netherlands, Sweden, Israel, Denmark, New Zealand, England, Canada, North Ireland, Czechoslovakia, Austria and West Germany, in that order.
